PALM CITY, Fla. - Jace McCarron from Jacksonville, FL added 70 to his opening round 67 for a 7-under par total of 137 and a two shot win over Sunny Kim and Ryder Sutcliffe. McCarron made 4 birdies in a row on holes 6-9 which gave him the lead he never relinquished.
McCarron won $1,500 from the $6,100 purse. Kim and Sutcliffe won $1,000 each and Kim added $140 in skins and $428 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,568.
In a second day shootout Thursday among players who scored 76 or higher Tuesday, Nick Branchina won $100 with a final round score of 65.
