PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Alex Ross from Atlanta, GA, Brett Stegmaier from Hamden, CT and Eric Beringer from Philadelphia, PA tied for the win at 6-under par 138 on the Palmer course at PGA National. Due to a 3 hour and 5 minute weather delay the final group finished just before dark preventing a playoff from happening.
First round leader Alex Ross added 71 to his first round 67. Stegmaier and Beringer added 70's to their opening round's of 68.
The trio each earned $1,550 from the $11,015 purse. Stegmaier and Beringer added $350 each from the bonus pool to raise their earnings for the event to $1,900. Beringer also added a $56.67 skin from day one.
This was Ross's first professional win in his professional debut. Stegmaier has 11 wins on the MLGT, Beringer now has 9 wins.
Amateur Bryan Teoh and Rick Lamb tied for 4th at 5-under par 139 and earned $925 each. Lamb added $200 from the bonus pool raising his check to $1,125.
In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who scored 73 or higher Tuesday, Justin Peters won $183 with a final round score of 70.

Alex Ross played his collegiate golf at Davidson College and is best known for shooting 57 on the par 72 layout at Druid Hills Golf Club in the Dogwood Invitational.
One shot back entering the final round are Bryan Teoh (a), Brett Stegmaier and Eric Beringer.
