PLANTATION, Fla. - Edward Figueroa from Naples, FL survived a two man playoff to win for the 3rd time on the MLGT. He and Tom Bevington tied in regulation at even par 71 on the East course at Jacaranda Golf Club.
On the first playoff hole Bevington's tee shot and 3rd shot found the penalty area while Figeuroa had 15 feet for birdie. Bevington conceeded Edward's birdie putt.
Figueroa earned $530 for the win. Bevington $480 which included bonus pool and skin money.
Next on the schedule: Tuesday at Florida Club followed by the Summer Team Championship at Indian Spring and then the tour takes it's annual 2 week summer break. Play will resume July 18th at Madison Green.
