PALM BEACH, Fla. - Luke Gifford from Boca Raton, FL wins in his first start as a professional at Palm Beach Par 3. His 8-under par total of 73 (27 holes) found him in a playoff with last week's winner Matt Oshrine. On the first playoff hole both men had looks at birdie, Ohrine from 25 feet and Gifford from 12. Oshrine ran his by 6 feet and after Gifford narrowly missed Oshrine's par putt to extend missed just high. Gifford's first professional win was worth $730 from the $3,000 purse. Ohrine earned $560 plus $232 from the bonus pool for a total of $792.
Justin Kalanquin and Ryan Jahn tied for 3rd two shots out of the playoff. Kalanquin earned $653.34 which included 2 skins, Jahn earned $550 which included bonus pool money.
Mariano Medico made the only hole in one of the day with a sand wedge on the 130 yard 14th hole. Congratulations Mariano!
