BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Aaron Wilson from Shakopee, MN needed a strong final round to earn his 3rd win on the MLGT. He started the day 3 behind first round leader Trevor Sluman. With 9 holes to go he was one behind but birdies on 10 and 12 pulled him one in front. He came to the reachable par-5 finishing hole with that one shot lead and both he and Sluman had makable putts for eagle. Sluman's just missed leaving Wilson 2 putts for the win. He calmly rolled in his eagle putt from 12 feet for a two shot win.

Wilson earned $1,600 from the $7,115 purse plus $188.58 in skins for a total of $1,788.58. Sluman earned $1,200 for the 2nd place finish. Sluman has 7 wins on the MLGT.

Talented female golfer from Korea, Ina Yoon fired a final round 61 to jump up into a tie for 3rd with Ian Peng.

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Trevor Sluman did not make a bogey or a 5 during the opening round on the West course at Indian Spring CC on Tuesday. He made birdies on 3,4,10,11,15 and 18 and eagled the par-5 7th for an opening round 62.

Brant Peaper and Aaron Wilson are closest to Trevor at 5-under par.

Scoring was good on day 1 with the wind down. 14 of the 25 players broke par.
