PLANTATION, Fla. - Michael Sweeney from Enfield, CT made 2 eagles in a 3 hole stretch in the middle of his round en route to 65 and a one shot win over Austin Hitt. This was Sweeney's 8th win on the MLGT which earned him $1,175.34 which includes bonus pool and skin money. Last week at PGA Tour Q-School Sweeney was medalist at his first stage site and is looking to remain in fine form heading into second stage next month.

Lawren Rowe was 3rd alone with a 3-under par 68 on the East course at Jacaranda GC.

Today's event was the final of three events this week that made up 2023 Monday Qualifier Contest #5 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. Sweeney's 3-day cumulative total of 13-under par earned him a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
