ATLANTIS, Fla. - Ryder Sutcliffe from Jupiter, FL and Nicklas Staub from Boynton Beach, FL teamed up for an impressive 13-under par 59 at Atlantis Country Club which was good for a two shot win over the team of Carson Klawonn and Kenny Hess. Sutcliffe and Staub earned $1,860 from the $8,464 purse for the win.
The front nine was a scramble, the back nine better ball, or four-ball stroke play. Sutcliffe/Staub made eagle on par-5 1st and added birdies on 2,3,5,6,8,9,10,11,13,16 and 18. They did not make a bogey.
23 of the 30 teams entered the optional $40 skins game building a pot of $920. An eagle on the par-5 9th and a birdie on the difficult par-4 15th won the $460 skins. Click on any of the $ symbols under the skins/total column to view the skins results.
