Angelo Giantsopoulos earns his first win on the MLGT with 64 at Indian Spring CC

BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Angelo Giantsopoulos from Philadelphia, PA earned his first win on the MLGT with a 6-under par 64 on the West course at Indian Spring CC. He and Brett Stegmaier tied in regulation but Stegmaier was unavailable for the playoff. Angelo earned $1,250 from the $8,725 purse. Brett earned $800 plus $231 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,031.

Charles Merzbacher won the only skin of the day worth $600 with an eagle on the par-5 10th hole.

Today's event was the first of three this week that make up 2024 Monday Qualifier Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour. Here is how we stand entering the 2nd event Wednesday at Jacaranda GC.
