SEBRING, Fla. - Bryson Nimmer from Bluffton, SC fires 207 (70-69-68) to win the 2024 Citrus Golf Trail Open and the $10k first place check. Along with the winners check comes the coveted orange jacket.

Nimmer started the final round tied for the lead at 5-under par. After an eagle on the par-5 11th and birdies at 12,14 and 15 he found himself one shot ahead at -10. He would bogey 16 and 17 to fall back to -8 and tied with George Kneiser who also bogied the 17th. On the difficult island green par-3 18th Nimmer hit it 40 feet past the pin and would roll in the long birdie bid for the win after Kneiser made par.
Nimmer earned $10,464 which included bonus pool money. Kneiser was 2nd alone and earned $4,701.34. Zachary Portemont and Daniel Obremski tied for 3rd at 7-under par 209.

SEBRING, Fla. - Michael Sweeney from Enfield, CT and Bryson Nimmer from Bluffton, SC share the 36 hole lead at 5-under par 139. Day two saw tough windy conditions that tested the field. After back to back double bogies on 9 and 10 Sweeeney bounced back with 3 birdies coming in. Nimmer had 5 birdies and 2 bogies in a solid 2nd round of 69.
The round of the day was shot by Angelo Giantsopoulos. His 2nd round 66 moved him up 27 spots into a tie for 5th heading into the final round.
The 36 hole cut fell at 2-over par 146. 27 players will tee it up in Friday's final round chasing the $10k winners check.

SEBRING, Fla. - Michael Sweeney from Enfield, CT and amateur Juan Fernando Castellanos from Santa Tecla, San Salvador matched 5-under par 67's on day one of the 2024 Citrus Golf Trail Open. Castellanos had one more birdie but also one more bogey than Sweeney.
Jimmy Jones is alone in 3rd after 68 on day one.
The top 40% (24 and ties) will make the 36 hole cut. After day one 25 players are at +1 or better.
