Ben VanScoyk fires 63 at CC of Coral Springs to earn his 3rd win on the MLGT

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Ben VanScoyk from Grand Rapids, MI fired 63 to win by one at the CC of Coral Springs. His 3rd win on the MLGT was worth $1,100 from the $7,840 purse. He and his playing partner Austin Lemieux (a) were battling all day until Ben birdied #16 to take a 2 shot lead. The 17th hole would pose a problem for VanScoyk but he made a 20 foot putt for bogey to carry a one shot lead to the last. The duo exchanged pars giving VanScoyk the win.

Recent DP World Tour winner Jordan Gumberg and Dawson Jones tied for 3rd at 4-under par 66.

Next on the schedule are three 1-day events next week on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday that make up Monday Qualifier Contest #4 presented by Abacoa GC where the player with the lowest cumulative 3-day score will win a $1k bonus to go play in a Monday Qualifier.
