BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Tyler Goecke from Xenia, OH fired 132 (66-66) to earn his first professional win in just his 2nd start. Goecke and James Piot were battling the entire back nine. Piot was 6-under par through 10 holes and 10-under total. Bogies at 15 and 17 dropped him back but a birdie at 18 posted 9-under par with Goecke in the group behind him. Goecke birdied 15 and 16 to get to 10-under but a bogey the difficult 17th dropped him back into a tie with the clubhouse lead. A good drive and second shot setup a 18 foot birdie putt that never left the center of the hole. Goecke earned $3,300 from the $28,585 purse. Piot earned $2,775 for the solo 2nd.

In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 71 or higher Wednesday, Etienne Papineau won $228 with a final round score of 64.
