STUART, Fla. Michael Sweeney from Enfield, CT birdied the 2nd playoff hole to outlast Wolmer Murrillo after the tow men tied at 4-under par 68 at The Champions Club. Sweeney earned $1,031 which included bonus pool and skin money for his 16th win on the MLGT.
Murillo is still looking for his first win but has been knocking on the door lately.
Today's event was the final of three this week that made up 2025 Monday Qualifier Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour. Dawson Jones' 3-day cumulative total of 201 (66-65-70) earned him a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
