PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Mark Goetz from Greensburg, PA blew away the field at The Nest par 3 course with a course record setting 7-under par 47. He did not make a bogey and made birdies at 1,5,7,10,11,16 and 18. He earned $900 from the $3,450 purse plus $150 from the bonus pool and $110.01 in skins for a total of $1,160.01 for his first win on the MLGT.

Lukas Clark was 2nd at 2-under par 52 followed by Brandon Valvano and amateur Emile Lebrun tied for 3rd at 53.

Congratulations to Michael Sweeney for making a hole in one on the 165 yard first hole with an 8 iron!

The top 8 players (plus ties) from the regular event went to the island green 19th hole for a sudden death shootout where the furthest ball from the hole each round was eliminated. Michael Sweeney outlasted everyone and won the shootout earning a $200 bonus. Emile Lebrun (a) was 2nd and earned $100 and Charlie Zielinski was 3rd and earned $50.
