WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Alex Vogelsong from Jupiter, FL did not make a bogey on the Estate course at PGA National en route to his 5th win on the MLGT. His 36 hole total of 129 (64-65) was three better than the field and earned him $2,943 which included bonus pool money.
Last week's winner Stephen Franken and Dawson Jones tied for 2nd at 132 and earned $1,600 each.
A big thank you to PGA National and their maintenance crew for doing their best to prepare the golf course with the weather that Mother Nature dealt us. Day one saw a 4 hour weather delay that ultimately suspended play for the day. The majority of the field had to come back Tuesday morning to finish their first round then turn right back around and play the final round.
Next on the scheudule is an 18 hole event on the West course at Fountains CC in Lake Worth.
