PALM CITY, Fla. - Leon Fricker from Plymouth, MA birdied two of the last three including the last hole for 65 and a one shot win over Austin Schultz. Fricker posted 65 early and waited around to see if it would be good enough. Schultz was four back with 9 to go but 5 birdies on holes 10-17 closed the gap to just one. He failed to get up and down from 20 yards on the par-5 finishing hole and finished one behind Fricker.

Fricker earned $1,000 from the $4,840 purse for his 2nd win on the MLGT. Schultz earned $700 for the solo 2nd.

Today's event was the first of three this week that make up 2025 Monday Qualifier Contest #5 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
