PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - John Houchin from Merritt Island, FL did not make a bogey en route to a 9-under par 58 to claim the #1 seed and earn a first round bye in the Match Play Championship.

2026 Match Play Championship Qualifying

Monday's 18 hole Seeding Round will determine the 32 players that qualify for Match Play. The round of 32 begins Tuesday morning. Play will be in threesomes Monday for qualifying/seeding then twosomes in match play.
