BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Domenico Geminiani from Lugo, Italy made history on Monday in the first round at Indian Spring CC. Playing the West course he made 10 birdies and an eagle at the par-5 finishing hole for 58! Two players in the 23 year history of the MLGT have shot 59 but this is the first 58! He will take a two shot lead over Nicklas Staub who shot an impressive opening round of 60.

Dom went out in 3-under par 31 then proceeded to birdie holes 10-15. He rolled in a 35 foot birdie putt on the par-3 17th then headed to the reachable par-5 18th. After a great drive and an even better second shot he rolled in the 12 foot putt for eagle for 58!

There is an optional $50 2nd day shootout for players at 68 and higher. 100% of the entry goes into the purse and the top 33% and ties will earn a check. If you would like to participate you must sign up and pay online before the first tee time on Tuesday (8:00am).
