QUITO, Ecuador - MLGT winner Joey Savoie from La Prairie, Quebec fired 267 (66-65-67-69) to win the KIA Open de Ecuador on the PGA Tour Americas! The win jumped Savoie from 17th to 2nd on the season long points race and in great position to earn a Korn Ferry Tour card for 2027!
Since turning pro late in 2020, Savoie has played a number of MLGT events during the winter months to work on his game before hitting the road in the summertime to play bigger events. He notched his lone MLGT win on the Match course at PGA National in November 2024.
