NORTH PALM BEACH, Fla. – Eric Cole of Orlando fired an eight under par 63 on Thursday at the North Palm Beach Country Club to claim his 21st victory on the Golfslinger.com Tour by the margin of five strokes.
The son of former tour pros Bobby Cole and Laura Baugh Cole, Eric, 26, had four birdies on each nine and did not make a bogey. He received $900 from the $5,125 purse, raising his career earnings to $59,788 since August, 2009.
Matt Hill, Daniel Obremski, and Steve LeBrun of West Palm Beach, who played in the Web.com Tour this year and the PGA Tour in 2013, tied for second with 68 among 41 in the starting field.
