PALM CITY, Fla. – Josh Hart of Jupiter, FL, eagled the 17th hole Wednesday to pull out his fourth victory on the Minor League Golf Tour. Hart edged Mike Miller of Brewster, NY, 66 to 67 on the Osprey Creek course at Martin Downs Country Club. Miller had finished more than an hour earlier than Hart with birdies on his last three holes.
In regulation, Hart made four birdies and a bogey on the first 13 holes. He received $900 from the $6,100, boosting his career earnings to $18,506 since February, 2008. All four of Hart's Minor League Golf Tour's victories have come on the Osprey Course at Martin Downs Country Club.
Miller, making his fifth MLGT start, made six birdies and two bogeys for a round of 4 under par 67 on windy day at Martin Downs. He finished second among 53 starters recieving $620.
The MLGT plays again Thursday on the South course at Fountains CC west of Lake Worth.
