WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Ryan Gildersleeve of Clearwater, FL fired rounds of 67-67 to win 2019 Qualifying School Contest #4 at PGA National Estate.
Gilderlseeve entered the final round one shot behind overnight leader Piri Borja. Sunny Kim would set the pace with a final round 66 to post 134. Gildersleeve would need a birdie on the final hole to tie Kim and he would two putt from 25 feet to do just that. Borja would need an eagle on the final hole to join the playoff. He was unable to hole his eagle chip so Ryan and Sunny would go to extra holes. The duo halved the first two playoff holes with par. On the par-3 3rd Sunny would miss the green pin high right. Gildersleeve hit his tee shot to 20 feet. Kim chipped to 6 feet for par. Gildersleeve 2 putted for par. Kim would miss the 6 footer that would extend the playoff.

16 of the 26 players participated in the Qualifying School Contest presented by Joey D Golf creating a prize pool of $3,200. First place in the contest was guarenteed to be $5,000. Gildersleeve can put that $5,000 towards the Q-School entry fee of his choice.
