64 at Abacoa earns Billy Walthouse his 3rd MLGT win
Carr Vernon leads Monday Q Contest #3 which awards the winner a $1k bonus

JUPITER, Fla. - Billy Walthouse from Longmeadow, MA makes 8 birdies en route to a 7-under par 64 and his 3rd win. His lone bogey came at the par-3 8th. He earned $1,250 from the $8,435 purse plus an additional $228 from the optional bonus pool.

Playing in the first group off the 1st tee, Peter French set the pace with a 6-under par 65. His solo 2nd earned him $725 plus $184 from the BP for a total of $909.

Today's event was the first of three that make up Monday Qualifier Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The professional with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to compete in a Monday qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour. The contest continues tomorrow at Madison Green.
