PALM BEACH, Fla. - Eric Cole from Orlando, FL fired 195 (66-63-66) to win the 2nd annual Palm Beach County Open. He earned $8,000 from the $38,013 purse plus $460 from the optional bonus pool for his 57th win on the MLGT.
Cole earned his PGA Tour card through the Korn Ferry Tour finals in 2022 and is off to a great start on the PGA Tour in 2023. He lost in a playoff at The Honda Classic just 4 weeks ago. He already has his PGA Tour card locked up for 2024 and is looking to break through with a win this year.
Chris Wiatr was 2nd at 198 earning $3,920 followed by Ryan Davis in 3rd at 199 earning $3,000.
This event showcased three of the best Palm Beach County golf courses this week. Round one was held at Park Ridge GC, round two at Okeeheelee GC and round three at Osprey Point GC.

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Eric Cole from Orlando, FL shot 28 on the front nine of Tuesday's final round en route to 63 and a 36 total of 13-under par 129. He leads by one entering the final round at Osprey Point GC.
Chris Wiatr and Ricardo Celia are tied for 2nd just one shot behind Cole at -12.
Dustin Denzik had the low round of day two with 62 at Okeeheelee GC. He is in 5th place after 36 holes at 10-under par.
29 players made the 36 hole cut which fell at 5-under par 137.

PALM BEACH, Fla. - Tyler Copp from Ann Arbor, MI overcame a lone bogey on #5 with 8 birdies and an eagle on the par-5 4th for 63 and a one shot lead over a trio of players after day one of the 2023 Palm Beach County Open. Monday's opening round was played at Park Ridge GC.
Dylan Meyer, Ricardo Celia and Brandon Berry opened with 8-under par 64's and will enter the 2nd round one back.
Tuesday's 2nd round will be played on the Eagle/Heron course at Okeeheelee GC. The top 40% (28 and ties) will make the cut and play the final round on the Falcon/Raven course at Osprey Point GC.
