LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Mother nature was not on our side today at Atlantic National. After two weather delays totaling 4 hours Thursday's event was shortened to 9 holes and Piri Borja, Eric Beringer, Peter Bradbeer and Justin Whitfield were declared co-champions. The four men tied at 4-under par 32 on the front nine.
They split 1st ($900), 2nd ($625), 3rd ($525) and 4th place ($450) money and earned $625 each. Borja, Beringer and Bradbeer added $150 each from the bonus pool and Borja and Beringer added skins worth $180 for a total of $955.
Cory Sciupider and Taylor Kay-Green tied for 5th at 3-under par 33.
Today's event was the final of three this week that make up 2023 Monday Qualifier Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour. Congratulations Michael Kartrude for earning the $1k bonus with a 13-under par total for the week.
