BOYNTON BEACH, Fla. - Brett Stegmaier from Hamden, CT was on 59 watch when he birdied the 13th hole to get to 10-under par. The West course at Indian Spring CC is a par 70 so he just needed to play the last 5 holes in 1-under to break 60. He would miss a 5 foot par putt on 16 then birdie the last for an impressive 10-under par course record setting 60.
Mark Goetz chipped in twice for eagle on the 10th and 18th holes and would finish with a 9-under par 61 but would come up one short of Stegmaier's 60. Stegmaier earned $1,342 which included bonus pool money. Goetz earned $1,203 for the 2nd place finish which included a $360 skin.
Today's event was the final of three events this week that made up 2023 Monday Qualifier Contest #7 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. Donnie Trosper' 3-day cumulative total of 199 (68-66-65) earned him a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
