PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Thomas Longbella from Chippewa Falls, WI fired 50 (4-under par) to win for the 2nd time on the MLGT. He did not make a bogey and made birdies on 7,12,15 and 17. He earned $1,100 from the $5,577 purse plus $231 from the bonus pool and $168 in skisn for a total of $1,499.
Brett Stegmaier and Tommy Kuhl tied for 2nd at 3-under par and earned $650 each plus $177.50 each from the BP. Kuhl added a $84 skin to raise his earnings on the day to $911.50.
The top 8 players (plus ties) from the regular event went to the island green 19th hole for a sudden death shootout where the furthest ball from the hole each round was eliminated. Roberto Nieves outlasted everyone and won the shootout earning a $200 bonus. George Kneiser was 2nd and earned $130 and Nicklas Staub was 3rd and earned $70.
