Longbella/Kneiser's 12-under par 60 was one shot better than four teams tied at 61

JENSEN BEACH, Fla. - Thomas Longbella from Chippewa Falls, WI and George Kneiser from Oconomowoc, WI teamed up for an impressive 12-under par 60 at Jensen Beach Golf Club to win by a shot over four teams. Longbella and Kneiser earned $2,200 from the $11,480 purse for the win plus $466 from the optional bonus pool.

The front nine was a scramble, the back nine better ball, or four-ball stroke play. Longbella/Kneiser did not make a bogey and had birdies on 2,3,4,5,7,9,11,13,14,15,16 and 17.

25 of the 32 teams entered the optional $40 skins game building a pot of $1,000. No holes were won outright so MLGT policy is the hole(s) with the fewest number of ties win the skins. Holes 1 and 11 only had two tied (both eagles on par 5's) so those four teams split the skins pot. Click on any of the $ symbols under the skins/total column to view the skins results.

There were two closest to the pin contest's on #6 and #13, along with a long drive contest on #7.
