PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Cameron Huss from Kenosha, WI made his first win on the MLGT an emphatic one. His 10-under par 62 on the Fazio course at PGA National was four better than the field. After birdies at 1,4,6 and 8 he eagled the par-5 12th then followed it up with birdies at 13,14,17 and 18. He earned $1,200 from the $7,355 purse plus $217 from the bonus pool for a total of $1,417.
Amateur Andrew Riley was 2nd alone at 66 followed by four players tied for 3rd at 67.
Today's event was the first of three this week that make up 2024 Monday Qualifier Contest #8 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
