JUPITER, Fla. - Domenico Geminiani from Lugo, Italy turned a last minute spot into his 13th win on the MLGT. Geminiani was 23rd on the waiting list when he registered for this event but decided to come to the event to see if anyone no showed but he wasn't the only one. Two other players ahead of him on the waiting list also came to the event in search of a tee time. Sometimes one player will have to withdraw the day of the event but it is rare that more than one player can't make it. However today three players did not show for the event including a player in the very last group which got Geminiani into the event. Starting on #10 Domenico started out birdie, eagle, birdie and went on to shoot 29 on his opening nine. He added a bogey and a birdie on the front nine for a 7-under par 64 on a breezy day at Abacoa GC to win by two. He earned $2,248 which included bonus pool and skin money.

Joey Savoie was 2nd at 66 followed by Truman Keppy and Austin Gean tied for 3rd at 67.

Today's event was the second of three this week that make up 2026 Monday Qualifier Contest #2 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
