Peter French wins at Abacoa with 66 in windy conditions

JUPITER, Fla. - Peter French from Franklin, MA earned his first win on the MLGT with a 5-under par 66 in very windy condtions at Abacoa Golf Club. He topped the 81 player field to earn $1,320 from the $10,686 purse. He added $228 from the optional bonus pool for a total of $1,548.

Brendan Peel was 2nd one shot behind at 67 followed by three players tied for 3rd at 68 including MLGT Major winner Carter Page.

Today's event was the second of three 1-day events this week that make up 2022 Monday Qualifying School Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The professional with the lowest 3-day cumulative score will earn a $1k bonus to compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
