PALM CITY, Fla. - Hugo Bernard from Mont-Sainf-Hilaire, Canada got back in the winners circle at Monarch Country Club. His 4-under par 68 was one better than Mariano Medico who posted 69 just 2 groups in front of Bernard.
Bernard earned $800 from the $3,725 purse. His last win on the MLGT came in 2015 at Major II where he set the 36 hole scoring record of 20-under par with rounds of 61-63 at Abacoa GC where he won by five.
Today's event was the first of three 1-day events this week that make up 2022 Monday Qualifying School Contest #3 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The professional with the lowest 3-day cumulative score will earn a $1k bonus to compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
