LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Tyler Copp from Ann Arbor, MI fired 131 (65-66) to win 2023 Major I on the West course at Fountains Country Club. His first professional win was worth $10,000.
Copp came to the 35th hole tied with Jimmy Hervol and Brant Peaper at 10-under par. A clutch 15 foot birdie putt on #17 gave him a 1 shot lead. He missed the green short right on #18 and chipped it to tap in range for the win.
First round leader Paul Pastore and Dylan Meyer tied for 2nd one behind Copp and earned $3,850 each plus $453.50 from the optional bonus pool. Patore added a $600 skin for a total of $4,903.50.

In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 71 or higher Wednesday, David Sanders, Tom Bevington and Owen Quinn won $200 each with a final round score of 68.
