PALM CITY, Fla. - Ryan Skae from West Palm Beach, FL needed extra holes to earn his first win on the MLGT. He and Jorge Garcia tied in regulation at 7-under par 137 at Banyan Creek Golf Club. Skae made a 20 foot putt on the final hole of regulation to get in the playoff.
On the par-5 first playoff hole Skae made a 20 foot birdie putt right before Garcia missed a 12 foot eagle putt. After they tied the 2nd playoff hole, Skae's par on the 3rd was good enough for the win after Garcia made bogey.
Skae earned $2,500 from the $17,810 purse plus $473 from the bonus pool and $252 in skins for a total of $3,225.
Because Skae did not enter the optional Qualifying School Contest Jorge Garcia won the $5,000 bonus to put towards the Q-School entry fee of his choice.
In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 74 or higher Wednesday, Ethan Marcus won $223 with a final round score of 69.

28 of the 57 players chose to enter 2023 Qualifying School Contest #2 where the winner will earn $5k to put towards their Q-School entry fee. 2nd place will recieve $600 towards theirs.

There is an optional $50 2nd day shootout for players at 74 and higher. 100% of the entry goes into the purse and the top 33% and ties will earn a check. If you'd like to participate you must sign up and pay online before the first tee time on Thursday.
