PALM CITY, Fla. - Grant Haefner from Bloomfield Hills, MI fired a pair of 67's to win by one at Banyan Creek Golf Club. In the final round he went out in 33 and proceeded to birdie 10 and 11 to take a one shot lead which he would never relinquish. He earned $2,800 from the $23,154 purse.
31 of the 72 players chose to enter Qualifying School Contest #2 presented by Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers. Dawson Jones won the $5k bonus to put towards the Q-School entry of his choice. Brett Stegmaier finished 2nd in the contest and earned $1,200 to put towards his Q-School entry.
In a second day shootout Tuesday among players who shot 73 or higher Wednesday, Tyler Stachkunas won $221 with a final round score of 68.
