PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Raoul Menard from Ange-Gardien, Quebec and Griffin Barela from Lakewood, CO were declared co-champions when darkness prevented a playoff on the Match course at PGA National. The two men tied in regulation at 6-under par 61 on the par 67 layout. Both men were 7-under par on the 18th tee and both bogied the par-3 finishing hole. They each earned $1,050 from the $10,635 purse. Menard added $230 from the optional bonus pool for a total of $1,280.
Larry Blatt won the only skin of the day worth $720 with an eagle on the par-4 12th.
Today's event was the second of three this week that make up 2024 Monday Qualifier Contest #2 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. The player with the lowest cumulative score for the three events wins a $1k bonus to go compete in a Monday Qualifier on the PGA Tour or Korn Ferry Tour.
