ATLANTIS, Fla. - Alejandro Garmendia from Doral, FL and Wolmer Murillo from Barquisiemto, Venezuela teamed up for an impressive 14-under par 58 in tough rainy conditions at Atlantis Country Club to win the Holiday Team Championship presented by Arise. They earned $2,200 from the $10,930 purse for the win. Their round was highlighted by an eagle on the par-5 12th.

The front nine was a scramble, the back nine better ball, or four-ball stroke play. Garmendia/Murillo made eagle on par-5 12th and added birdies on 1,2,3,4,8,9,10,11,13,14,17 and 18. They did not make a bogey.
18 of the 32 teams entered the optional $40 skins game building a pot of $720. Their were no holes won outright so per MLGT policy the hole(s) with the fewest number of ties split the skins pot. All holes had 3 or more tied except the par-4 13th which only had 2 tied so the teams of Klawonn/Hess and Staub/Sutcliffe split the $720 skins pot.
