
VERO BEACH, Fla. - Ty Celone and Tyler Jones started and ended the day tied for the lead on the Dunes course at Sandridge GC. Both men shared the first round lead at 6-under par 66 and both went out in 3-under par 33 on the front side. Jones birdied the par-3 14th to take a one shot lead which is where they stood on the final hole. Celone two putted for birdie on the par-5 finishing hole leaving Jones with a 10 foot birdie putt for the win. When his birdie putt slide by the right edge the two men were declared co-champions as darkness prevented a playoff.
19 of the 54 players chose to enter Qualifying School Contest #1 presented by Britto & Herman Injury Lawyers. Celone and Jones shared the $5k bonus and earned an extra $2,500 each to use towards the Q-School entry fee of their choice.

In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 72 or higher Wednesday, Grant Haefner won $228 with a final round score of 69.

Blair Bursey is just one back entering Thursday's final round. Jimmy Hervol, Spencer Oxendine and Austin Gean are two back with 18 holes to play.
