LAKE WORTH, Fla. - Andres Asin from Madrid, Spain got the monkey off his back winning for the first time since turning professional earlier this summer. He overcame an early bogey at the 2nd with 7 birdies for a 6-under par 65 on a windy day on the West course at Fountains CC to win by one over Jonathan Griz.
Griz finished up a decorated amateur career at the University of Alabama and turned pro this summer and is looking to climb the ranks of professional golf.
Ethan Marcus was 3rd alone at 67.
Today was the first of three events this week that make up 2026 Monday Qualifier Contest #6 presented by Abacoa Golf Club. Here is how we stand entering the second event at Abacoa GC.
