WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. - Raoul Menard from Ange-Gardien, Quebec turned a first round lead into his 5th win on the MLGT. He added 68 to his first round 63 for a 11-under par total of 131 and a one shot win over David Perkins.
Menard was two clear of Perkins on 15 tee when he tee shot was never found in the palmetto bushes right of the fairway. He would make eagle on his 2nd ball for 5 while Perkins made birdie to close the gap to one. The duo would exchange birdies on #17 and pars on the last giving Menard the one shot victory.
Menard earned $2,750 from the $21,460 purse plus $464 in the bonus pool and a $148 skin for a total of $3,362. He also won Qualifying School Contest #1 and the $5k bonus to put towards his Q-School entry fee.
Dylan Meyer finished 3rd alone at 135 earning $2,731. He also finished 2nd in the Qualifying School contest and earned $800 to put towards his Q-School entry fee.
In a second day shootout Thursday among players who shot 73 or higher Wednesday, Evan Brown and Billy Basham won $190 each with final round scores of 70.

Playing the Eagle/Heron nines Perkins eagled the par-5 15th and added birdies at 2,5,7,8,11 and 17. Menard made birdies at 3,7,10,12,13,14,15 and 17.
Stuart Easton will enter the final round one behind after 64.
29 of the 66 players chose to enter the Qualifying School Contest where the winner will receive a $5k bonus to put towards the Q-School entry fee of their choice. Because more than 25 players entered, 2nd place will receive $800 to put towards their Q-School entry.
