JENSEN BEACH, Fla. - Steven DiLisio from Swampscott, MA and Evan Katz from Washington, DC eagled the first playoff hole (par-5) to win the 2026 Winter Team Championship at Jensen Beach GC. They tied the team of Chris Francoeur and Luke Gifford at 13-under par 59. On the par-5 first playoff hole in better ball format both Gifford and DiLisio had eagle putts from just off the green. Gifford was first and missed just on the high side. DiLisio then drained his 20 footer from the fringe for the win. This was both DiLisio and Katz's first win on the MLGT. They earned $2,300 from the $12,448 purse. They also added $431 from the bonus pool and a $580 skin for a total of $3,311.

The front nine was a scramble, the back nine better ball, or four-ball stroke play. DiLisio/Katz did not make a bogey and had eagles on 7 and 15 and added birdies on 1,2,3,4,5,8,10,11 and 16.
29 of the 38 teams entered the optional $40 skins game building a pot of $1,160. All holes were tied so per MLGT policy the hole(s) with the fewest number of ties split the skins pot. The 15th hole had two eagles which was the fewest tied so those teams split the skins pot. Click on any of the $ symbols under the skins/total column to view the skins results.
